It’s cherry pickin’ time here in Brentwood.
Want to know where you can find farm info, picked or u-pick? I know I sure did!
Visit Harvest Time, a non-profit organization promoting local agriculture, and grab your copy of the annual farm trail map with a list of over 40 growers who sell directly to the consumer. An edible-treasure map.

Similar to the celebration of Maize by ancient (and current!) Latin civilizations, we residents of Brentwood take time during Cornfest every July to raise a cob to salute local farmers and the gods of
fertility, thankful for their generous bounty. Do you think that someday people will look back and study our celebration? I took a drive down Sellers today and the corn is looking good. Nunn better, in fact.
